Prepare all the ingredients.

Melt the butter and lightly grease the bottom of the mug. Leave the rest of the butter for the dough.

Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.

- Cocoa powder: 8 g
- Baking powder: 1 g
- Salt: pinch

Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla paste.

- Vanilla paste: 0.3 teaspoon

Mix until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Add chocolate chips and mix again.

Transfer the dough to a ceramic mug. Optionally, the cupcake can be decorated with chocolate chips on top.

Send the cake to the microwave for 80 seconds and leave it there for 1 minute after cooking. The cake should be cooked but not over-dried and maintain a shiny surface.
