A simple plum pie is the embodiment of coziness and home warmth. Its roots go back to the traditions of European cuisine, where seasonal fruits were transformed into delicate pastries. This pie enchants with its simplicity and rich flavor: soft, slightly moist dough with subtle creamy notes perfectly complements the sweet-sour taste of baked plums that reveal their aroma thanks to caramelized sugar. Such a dessert pairs wonderfully with a cup of fragrant tea or coffee and can be served on a weekday or at a family celebration. Its preparation does not require complex techniques, and the result consistently delights the eye and palate. Lightness, tenderness, natural ingredients—all these make the simple plum pie a favorite choice for a cozy evening.

1
Sift the flour into a bowl, add salt, sugar (2 tbsp), and baking powder. Prepare the yogurt and eggs.
- Whole grain flour: 300 g
- Salt: 3 g
- Sugar: 3 tablespoons
- Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
- Yogurt: 300 ml
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces

2
Pour the yogurt into the mixture of dry ingredients.
- Yogurt: 300 ml

3
Break 2 eggs.
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces

4
Mix everything carefully until homogeneous — the dough will be like liquid sour cream.

5
Place a silicone mat or paper in the baking dish.

6
Pour out half of the mixture.

7
Wash the plums.

8
Cut them in half and remove the pit.

9
Then place the halved plums cut side up into the poured batter.

10
Pour the remaining half of the dough on top.

11
Place the remaining plums on top cut-side up and sprinkle with sugar (just a couple of teaspoons, so the plum releases juice and browns).
- Plums: 1 kg

12
Put in the oven for 45 minutes at 180 degrees.

13
After the pie is ready, you can sprinkle powdered sugar on top (for beauty).
- Powdered sugar: 2 tablespoons

14
Let the pie cool and carefully transfer it to a plate (it is quite delicate until it cools down).

15
After cooling, it can be cut into portions.
