A sweet pie made from yeast dough is the embodiment of Russian baking traditions, where soft, airy dough combines with the delicate sweetness of the filling. The roots of this dish go back centuries when housewives skillfully created fragrant pies that brought warmth to the home. Its taste is tender, with a subtle sweetness highlighted by the airy structure of the dough. Baked to a golden crust, it becomes a perfect addition to family tea time. After cooking, the pie is decorated with a lattice of dough and dusted with powdered sugar and vanilla for a touch of refined sweetness. It pairs wonderfully with milk or fruit juice, turning each treat into a cozy moment of enjoyment.

Roll out the prepared dough to a thickness of about 1/2 cm, place it on a prepared baking sheet or round pan, trim the excess dough, add the filling, and fold the edges over by 1.5–2 cm. Cut narrow strips from the leftover dough and make a lattice on top of the filling. Attach the dough strips to the edges of the pie with egg. Then place the pie in a warm place to rise.
