A tart with custard filling and berries is an elegant dessert of French cuisine that combines the tenderness of creamy texture with the refreshing tartness of berries. Its roots trace back to traditional French tart recipes popular since the Middle Ages. The crispy base made from whole grain flour and oat bran adds a light nutty note to the pastry, while the airy custard made from milk, starch, and yolks provides a velvety taste. The berries adorning the surface add natural sweetness and juiciness. This tart is perfect for summer tea parties or special evenings when you want to indulge in a true culinary masterpiece with noble flavor and harmonious texture.
