Layered pie with rice and canned fish

Savory pies are good because they take a minimum of time to prepare and you can feed them to the whole family at once, including young children and elderly relatives: a piece of such a pie is quite suitable as a main course for lunch or dinner.

Boil rice in salted water.
- Rice: 0.5 glass

Chop the onion into cubes and sauté a little.

Open the canned food and mash the fish with a fork.

Mix all ingredients well, add salt, spices, mayonnaise, and mix the filling again until smooth.

Divide the puff pastry into two layers. Place the first layer on a greased baking sheet, add all the filling on top, and spread it out.
- Puff pastry: 500 g

Grate the butter evenly directly onto the filling (it will add moisture to the pie), cover the pie with a second layer of dough and seal the edges.
- Butter: 30 g

Brush the pie with egg yolk and place it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
