Pesto is a fragrant Italian sauce that has its roots in Genoa, the birthplace of basil. Its fresh, herbal flavor with nutty notes of pine nuts and creamy softness of Parmesan makes it an ideal complement to pasta, pizza, or fish and meat dishes. By blending the ingredients with olive oil, a thick, rich paste is created that reveals its flavor after cooling. Pesto is not just a sauce but an embodiment of Mediterranean culinary philosophy based on simplicity and naturalness. This traditional delicacy will adorn your table with a vibrant green color and bring the freshness of summer aromas at any time of the year.
