Classic vinaigrette with onions is a traditional dish of Russian cuisine that combines simplicity and rich flavor. Its history dates back to the 19th century when root vegetables became the basis for many dishes. In this recipe, beets are roasted to reveal their sweet taste, while pickled onions add zest. Potatoes and carrots provide tenderness, and crunchy pickles and sauerkraut add a light tanginess. The dressing made from olive oil and wine vinegar unites the ingredients into a harmonious composition. This salad is often served as an appetizer; it pairs well with meat dishes and perfectly complements festive tables. Vinaigrette is not only tasty but also healthy as it is rich in vitamins and fiber. Try this recipe and enjoy the rich flavor of classic vinaigrette!
