In a saucepan over low heat, heat the olive oil. Sauté the finely chopped garlic and onion until translucent and let cool.
- Olive oil: 3 tablespoons
- Onion: 2 heads
- Garlic: 2 cloves

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Mix the minced meat, tomato sauce, egg, breadcrumbs, and half of the fried onion and garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Try to mix the mixture as little as possible to keep the roll tender and airy.
- Ground meat: 1.5 kg
- Tomato sauce: 250 g
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Breadcrumbs: 1 glass
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste

Place the mixture in a baking dish and shape it into a roll.

Sprinkle the remaining onion and garlic on top, brush with ketchup. Bake for 45 minutes, remove from the oven, let the meat 'rest' for 10 minutes, slice and serve.
