Chicken in honey-garlic sauce, baked in the oven

Chicken in honey-garlic sauce, baked in the oven, is a true gastronomic symphony of Russian cuisine, where the simplicity of ingredients combines with depth of flavor. Historically, honey was used in Russian cooking not only as a natural sweetener but also as an element in marinades that gives dishes tenderness and a golden crust. Fragrant garlic and spicy soy sauce create a rich flavor palette where sweetness smoothly transitions into mild spiciness. Chicken soaked in this marinade becomes surprisingly juicy and tender, while the baked crust is appetizingly crispy. This dish is perfect for both a cozy family dinner and a festive feast, making guests enjoy every bite and come back for more.

1
Rinse the chicken and dry it with a paper towel.
- Chicken: 1 piece
2
Mix crushed garlic, honey, soy sauce, salt, and red ground pepper, and our honey-garlic sauce is ready.
- Garlic: 4 cloves
- Transparent honey: 4 tablespoons
- Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Salt: 1 tablespoon
- Ground red pepper: 2 teaspoons
3
Pour the washed and dried chicken with sauce and leave for 15 minutes, during which time the chicken will soak up and acquire a rich pleasant taste and aroma.
- Chicken: 1 piece

Place the carcass on a baking sheet in a preheated oven at 200 degrees, pour the remaining sauce over it, and bake for 45 minutes. Usually, I roast the chicken back down and flip it to the other side about 10 minutes before it's done, so both sides cook well and get a nice golden color.
- Chicken: 1 piece
