Juicy shashlik in a multicooker

Juicy shashlik in a multicooker is an unexpected and original take on a classic dish, where the traditional cooking method is replaced by the modern conveniences of technology. The recipe's highlight is the marinade made from kiwi and onion, which makes the meat surprisingly tender and soft. Kiwi not only tenderizes the meat fibers but also adds a light fruity acidity that perfectly complements the aroma of spices and sweet pepper. Shashlik cooked in a multicooker retains its juiciness, with the meat literally melting in your mouth, infused with a rich marinade and spices. This dish is perfect for home gatherings when you want to enjoy the rich flavor of shashlik without needing to light coals. The European interpretation of this traditional Eastern dish makes it accessible for any kitchen while preserving all its sophistication and gastronomic delight.

1
Any shashlik, even if cooked in a multicooker, starts with a marinade. Since this dish is unusual, we will make a corresponding marinade: first, we peel the kiwi and clean 2 onions.
- Kiwi: 2 pieces
- Onion: 4 pieces
2
Now we send them together to the blender and grind well (until a homogeneous sauce forms). It should be noted that kiwi has the property of retaining meat juices and tenderizing it. Thus, our kebab will just melt in your mouth!
3
We cut the red sweet bell pepper into large half-rings and the two remaining onions into rings.
- Sweet pepper: 2 pieces
- Onion: 4 pieces
4
Now we rinse our meat well, then cut it into pieces. We salt and pepper it, rubbing it with ground coriander.
- Meat: 1 kg
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste
- Ground coriander: to taste

Then we add the previously made sauce of onion and kiwi, as well as chopped bell pepper and onion. We mix everything well and put it in the fridge to marinate (for about 2-3 hours).
- Kiwi: 2 pieces
- Sweet pepper: 2 pieces
- Onion: 4 pieces

After that, we place our marinated meat in the multicooker (with the marinade) and set the 'Baking' mode (cooking time - 45 minutes).
- Meat: 1 kg
