We cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. We clean and slice the potatoes into medium-thick round pieces. We place the chicken in a greased dish, season with salt, pepper, and herbs to taste, and mix the pieces. On top, we layer the potatoes, also adding a little salt.

For the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan and mix in flour. Then pour in milk and continue stirring. Finally, add a little salt, sprinkle with nutmeg, and pepper. Turn off the heat, grate most of the cheese into the sauce and mix.

Pour the sauce over the potatoes, spreading it evenly. Grate the remaining cheese on top for a crust and place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 50 minutes to an hour.
