Chicken fillet with yogurt and mustard baked in crackers is a refined dish of European cuisine that combines the tenderness of chicken meat with the spiciness of mustard and the creaminess of yogurt. Baking in a crispy cracker crust adds a unique texture, transforming simple ingredients into a true gastronomic delight. Historically, such dishes emerged as an alternative to classic breading, creating a lighter and more aromatic crust. The taste is tender, slightly spicy, with a hint of yogurt's acidity and a rich spicy accent. The dish is perfect for both everyday dinners and festive tables, complemented by fresh vegetables or a light sauce. Its ease of preparation makes it a versatile option for busy gourmets wishing to enjoy the simplicity and sophistication of European traditions.

1
Clean the chicken fillet (remove excess fat, cartilage if any, remnants of skin and/or bones), rinse and dry. Cut across the fibers into 'sticks' (fingers) and salt.
- Chicken fillet: 2 pieces
2
Mix yogurt and mustard and let the sauce sit for at least 30 minutes, up to 3 hours.
- Natural yoghurt: 100 g
- Hot mustard: 1 teaspoon
3
Crush the crackers in a blender or coffee grinder. Coat the chicken 'fingers' in the crackers (you can add sesame or grated almonds to the crackers if desired) and place them on a dry baking sheet lined with foil.
