Scallops baked with garlic are a refined dish of European cuisine that captivates with its tenderness and aroma. Historically, scallops were considered a delicacy available only to the chosen few, but today gourmets around the world enjoy their flavor. Baked in the oven with garlic, butter, and a generous layer of grated cheese, they acquire incredible juiciness and an appetizing golden crust. Their taste is a combination of the soft texture of seafood, spicy notes of garlic, and creamy tenderness of cheese. They are best served immediately after baking, right in their shells, enjoying the rich sea aroma. This is the perfect dish for a cozy dinner with wine or a festive table where sophistication of taste and simplicity of preparation are appreciated.
