Dumpling casserole

Dumpling casserole is an unusual and cozy dish that combines the traditional flavors of familiar dumplings with a creamy cheese texture and a rich vegetable base. Although the name may evoke associations with Russian cuisine, this recipe has absorbed elements of Italian gastronomy through the addition of tomatoes, cheese, and aromatic baking. Sweet-spicy Korean-style carrots add zest, while gherkins provide a fresh tang. Baked under a golden crust, the dumplings become soft as they soak up the rich tomato-cheese sauce, turning into a harmonious and appetizing dinner. It's a great solution for family gatherings or cozy evenings when you crave something delicious yet simple to prepare.
