Irish Potatoes with Cabbage

Irish potato and cabbage is a simple yet incredibly tasty dish rooted in traditional Irish cuisine. Wash and clean the potatoes (about 4 pieces). Cut into large quarters.
- Potato: 400 g

Wash a small cabbage head, remove the top leaves, cut off the core. Shred into thin strips.
- White cabbage: 750 g

Place the potatoes in a well-heated, preferably cast iron skillet. Add half of the oil. Fry, turning, without a lid for 15 minutes.

Then add half of the cabbage. Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium. Add salt.

Gradually add cabbage and oil, fry for another 5 minutes. Continue to turn the cabbage to prevent it from burning.

Reduce the heat to the lowest. Season with black pepper, stir. Cover with a lid and let it sit for 5 minutes.
