Meat cutlets with cheese

The advantage of this recipe is that it does not specify either the composition of the minced meat or the type of cheese. And this gives free rein to the imagination. For example, pork and feta. Or lamb and suluguni. Or duck and Gruyere. Or minced meat "Home" from the nearest supermarket and Russian cheese from there.

Grate the onion on a coarse grater.
- Onion: 1 head

Add onion, semolina, egg to the minced meat, season with salt and pepper, and mix thoroughly.
- Ground meat: 500 g

- Semolina: 2 tablespoons
- Chicken egg: 1 piece

Cut the cheese into small cubes.
- Cheese: 100 g

Shape flat patties from the minced meat. Place cheese cubes on the patty. Wrap it into a cutlet shape.

Coat the patties in breadcrumbs.
- Breadcrumbs: to taste

Pour vegetable oil into a heated pan. Place the patties and fry on medium heat for about 5 minutes (until golden brown).

Flip to the other side and fry for another 5 minutes. Then cover with a lid and fry for another 7-10 minutes on low heat.
