Indonesian chicken with mushrooms (Ayam dengan jamur) is an exquisite dish embodying the depth of Indonesian cuisine flavors. Prepare all ingredients: pour a cup of boiling water over shiitake mushrooms. Let it steep. When the mushrooms cool slightly and infuse the water with their wonderful flavor, slice the mushrooms. Keep the liquid from the mushrooms.
- Dried Shiitake Mushrooms: 10 pieces

Wash, dry with a kitchen towel, and cut the chicken fillet diagonally against the fibers. The pieces should not be too small or too large.
- Chicken fillet: 3 pieces

Finely chop the garlic and ginger. Slice the green onion into rings.
- Garlic: 3 cloves
- Fresh ginger: 1 piece
- Green onions: 4 stems

Heat the wok, pour in the oil, and wait for it to get hot. Add the chicken to the wok and immediately add soy sauce. Stir quickly. Add garlic. Stir. After about 1.5 minutes, add the sliced mushrooms.
- Vegetable oil: 20 ml
- Chicken fillet: 3 pieces
- Soy sauce: 10 ml
- Garlic: 3 cloves
- Dried Shiitake Mushrooms: 10 pieces

Add starch to the remaining liquid from the mushrooms and mix well. Immediately add to the wok.
- Starch: 2 tablespoons

Stir quickly. Do not keep on the heat for more than a minute and remove. The sauce should start to thicken.
- Soy sauce: 10 ml

Serve on a beautiful dish. Garnish with sliced green onions on top.
- Green onions: 4 stems

Serve, as always, with white rice (basmati, jasmine).
