Hunter's food is a traditional Russian dish born in harsh natural conditions. It embodies heartiness, simplicity, and rich flavor, essential for travelers and hunters. The dish's base is wild boar fillet, which becomes incredibly juicy and aromatic due to a special cooking method. Meat pieces are dipped in a batter, coated in flour, rubbed with garlic, and fried until golden brown. The garnish is tender jacket potatoes elegantly decorated with ketchup and herbs. A crucial addition is crispy fried lard that gives the dish a unique richness. It's not just food; it's a true ritual that evokes the spirit of adventure, fresh air, and evening gatherings by the fire.
