Sea bass with rustic potatoes is a refined dish of Yugoslav cuisine that combines the simplicity of rural traditions with the delicate taste of fresh fish. Lightly sautéing garlic and pepper in olive oil reveals deep aromas, creating a base for a rich tomato sauce. The potatoes slowly absorb spices, the softness of cumin, and the heat of chili pepper, turning into a tender and fragrant accompaniment to the juicy sea bass fillet. The fish simmers in an aromatic environment, soaking up the richness of flavors while remaining tender. This dish is perfect for cozy family dinners as well as for elegantly entertaining guests, blending rustic warmth with gastronomic sophistication.
