Five-Spice Marinated Pork Ribs
4 servings
150 minutes
Marinated pork ribs in five spices are a vibrant representative of Chinese cuisine, combining deep aroma and rich flavor. The five-spice mix, which includes star anise, cloves, cinnamon, Sichuan pepper, and fennel, gives the ribs an Eastern spiciness and zest. Ketchup, honey, and soy sauce add a sweet-salty harmony while garlic and chili provide a mild heat. Prolonged marination makes the meat tender and infused with flavors, while baking in the oven gives it an appetizing caramelized crust. These ribs are perfect for both a cozy family dinner and a lively feast. Serving with green onions adds freshness while the spice combination makes the dish unforgettable.

Cut the ribs one by one.
