Steamed fish cutlets are a delicate and healthy dish of Russian cuisine, perfect for healthy eating. Its history roots in the traditions of fish preparation in Rus', where boiled and steamed dishes were valued for their tenderness and rich flavor. The main ingredient is white fish, giving the cutlets a delicate texture and lightness. Potatoes and carrots add juiciness, while onions provide a subtle spiciness. Steamed, they retain maximum nutrients, and the butter poured over them before serving adds depth to the flavor. These cutlets are especially good for diet meals and children's dishes as they are easily digestible and contain no excess fat. They can be served with vegetables, herbs or light sauces to enjoy their soft taste and tender structure.
