Baked Pork and Beans

Prepare all the ingredients.

Preheat the oven to 150 degrees.

In a large heat-resistant pot, heat vegetable oil over high heat. Add 4 slices of bacon and cook until crispy.
- Vegetable oil: 1 teaspoon
- Bacon: 8 pieces

Place the bacon on a paper towel to remove excess fat. Repeat with the remaining bacon.
- Bacon: 8 pieces

Remove half of the fat from the bacon in the pot, then add onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Onion: 0.5 head

Add diced jalapeño and minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Jalapeno pepper: 1 piece
- Garlic: 3 cloves

Then add ketchup, sugar, honey, cider, apple vinegar, ginger, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce and mix well.
- Ketchup: 1 glass
- Brown sugar: 0.5 glass
- Honey: 150 g
- Cider: 0.5 glass
- Apple cider vinegar: 1 tablespoon
- Ground ginger: 1 teaspoon
- Dry mustard: 1 tablespoon
- Worcestershire sauce: 1 tablespoon

Return the bacon to the pot, stir, and bring to a boil over low heat.
- Bacon: 8 pieces

Add the beans and gently mix.
- Canned beans: 230 g

Place an open pot in the oven for 40-50 minutes to thicken the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
