Baked mackerel with herbs is a refined dish of European cuisine that combines the simplicity of preparation with the rich aroma of fresh herbs. This recipe allows the natural flavor of the fish to shine through, enhanced by salt, pepper, and bay leaves. Tender, juicy mackerel enriched with the zest of parsley and dill acquires a subtle spicy aroma, making each bite special. The ease of preparation makes this dish perfect for both festive dinners and everyday meals. Baking in foil preserves the fish's tenderness while the final uncovered stage creates an appetizing golden crust. Mackerel pairs wonderfully with light sides, fresh vegetables, or a glass of white wine.
