Prepare all the ingredients.

First, you need to boil the syrup. Place all ingredients except for the cider in a saucepan.
- Black tea: 60 g
- Thyme: 20 g
- Cinnamon: 40 g
- Carnation: 12 g
- Lemon zest: 120 g
- Orange juice: 400 ml
- Cane sugar: 400 g
- Water: 2 l

Cook on low heat for 20 minutes.

Remove from heat.

Cool down.

Filter through cheesecloth. The syrup is ready.

For mulled wine, take 200 ml of syrup.

Next is mulled wine. Pour the cider and syrup into a pitcher or saucepan.
