Take cherries and remove the pits, then place the berries in a sieve and sprinkle with sugar. Place the sieve in a deep bowl - the cherries will release juice.
- Cherry: 200 g
- Sugar: 100 g

To prepare the dough: beat the egg, salt, and water, pour the mixture into the flour, and knead a firm dough. Knead until it no longer sticks to your hands. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Salt: 5 g
- Water: 120 ml
- Wheat flour: 400 g

Then cut the dough into several pieces, rolling each into a thin layer. Use a glass or a mold with a diameter of 2.5 cm to cut out round flatbreads from the dough. Roll a new ball from the remaining dough, roll it out, and cut it into round flatbreads.

Mix cherries with sugar well in a sieve, do not pour out the released juice.

Take a round dough piece, place some berry filling in the center. Fold the dough in half and seal the edges.

Boil water in a pot and add a pinch of salt. Place the dumplings in the boiling salted water. Cook over medium heat until the dumplings float to the surface. Then cook for a couple more minutes and remove with a slotted spoon.

Serve hot dumplings with sour cream and 50 ml of cherry juice, sprinkled with powdered sugar on top.
