Frittata with zucchini is a delicate and aromatic dish of Italian cuisine, known for its simplicity and rich flavor. Italians love frittata for its versatility—it’s perfect for breakfast or a light dinner. The history of frittata roots in peasant cooking traditions that used available seasonal ingredients. In this version, young zucchini plays the main role, adding freshness and softness to the dish. Onions and tomatoes complement it with a light sweetness, while melted hard cheese creates a tender texture. Frittata is served warm or chilled; it’s great as a standalone dish or alongside greens and bread. Its airy quality and rich taste make it an ideal choice for those who appreciate the harmony of simple yet exquisite combinations.
