Kolduny is a Baltic version of potato pancakes with a minced meat filling. First, form a potato pancake, put some meat on top and cover the filling with another layer of potato dough. To ensure that the kolduny are completely baked, cook them over low heat. They are best eaten with rich village sour cream.

    Check the minced meat - it should not be dry. Add salt and pepper to it. If necessary, add a spoon of sour cream and boiling water.

    Heat the pan with vegetable oil.

    Lower the heat to minimum and place a tablespoon of dough on the hot skillet, flattening it into a neat pancake.

    Spread the filling on top of the pancake, distribute it, and cover the filling with another layer of dough.

    When the bottom is browned enough, flip and fry until cooked.
