Berry crumble with granola is a refined dessert of British cuisine that combines a tender sweet-sour filling of fresh berries with a crunchy topping of muesli. Its history dates back to the mid-20th century when, during times of austerity, ingredients were used wisely by replacing traditional pastry with a simple yet tasty crumble. The vanilla extract and brown sugar give the dessert depth of flavor and a pleasant caramel note. It is ideal as a warm treat with tea, especially on cool evenings when one craves homey comfort. Granola adds a nice texture, turning each bite into a harmonious blend of softness and crunch. Served with ice cream or yogurt, it creates a balance between richness and freshness.
