Millet porridge without milk

Millet porridge and pumpkin are two inseparable friends. And in the company of apple and raisins, such porridge goes from the ordinary to something exciting. If you really want to go wild, you can add some grated cheese to the porridge.

Peel the pumpkin and cut it into small pieces of 3-4 cm.
- Pumpkin: 400 g

Bring water to a boil, add pieces of pumpkin, and cook until done. This will take 15-20 minutes.
- Pumpkin: 400 g

Blend the cooked pumpkin with oil and cinnamon until smooth.
- Pumpkin: 400 g
- Vegetable oil: 50 ml
- Cinnamon: 0.5 teaspoon

Pour water over the millet, bring to a boil, then drain the water and rinse the grains under running water.
- Millet: 220 g

Return the rinsed millet to the pot, add water in a 1/2 ratio, add a pinch of salt and sugar, bring to a boil and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Millet: 220 g
- Salt: to taste
- Sugar: 2 tablespoons

After 10 minutes, when the water equals the grains, add pumpkin puree and raisins, mix, cover the porridge with a lid and remove from heat. Let the porridge sit for 30 minutes to finish cooking.
- Pumpkin: 400 g
- Raisin: 50 g

Peel the apple and cut it into small cubes. Mix the apple into the prepared porridge and serve immediately.
