California Sushi Roll at Home
2 servings
30 minutes
The California sushi roll is a culinary symbol of fusion cuisine that originated in the USA in the 1970s. Created to adapt Japanese cuisine to Western tastes, it features a vibrant appearance and rich flavor. Hidden within the tender rice is a harmony of crab sticks, cream cheese, and tobiko caviar that adds crunch and a slight saltiness. Avocado and cucumber add freshness, while nori serves as a sturdy framework for the perfect roll shape. This roll does not require soy sauce – it is self-sufficient and balanced. Perfect for home preparation, allowing you to feel like a true sushi master. The California roll is the choice for those who appreciate the refined combination of tradition and modernity.
