Norwegian fish sandwiches smørrebrød

Smørrebrød is a classic Norwegian fish sandwich on black bread. Norwegians cannot imagine breakfasts and brunches without this snack. There are more than a thousand types of such sandwiches. In restaurants, they are served as a bright and tasty compliment from the chef. The proposed recipe describes the classic version of preparation. This is the first smørrebrød, which became known outside of Norway.

Melt the cheese in a saucepan, adding 2-3 tablespoons of water, until it becomes a sauce.

Cut the pickled cucumbers into small cubes. Mix the cheese mixture and cucumbers.
