Marinated green bean with lemon and chili is a spicy and refreshing dish from Arabic cuisine that combines the crunchy texture of beans, the citrus tang of lemon, and the fiery aroma of chili pepper. Historically, such marinades were used to preserve vegetables in hot climates, adding rich flavor and a distinctive spicy note. This marinade is perfect as a standalone appetizer or a side dish for meat and fish dishes. Beans soaked in a spicy vinegar solution with garlic and spices acquire a rich flavor that becomes even more pronounced after chilling. This dish beautifully complements Eastern meals, adding freshness and zest.
