Baguette with garlic butter

Garlic butter baguette is a fragrant and crispy culinary masterpiece inspired by Italian cuisine. This bread, with its golden crust and rich flavor of butter with garlic notes, perfectly complements any meal, whether as a light snack or an accompaniment to exquisite dishes. Its origin is linked to the tradition of flavored bread widely found in European gastronomy. With its tender dough and savory filling, garlic butter baguette delights gourmets with a combination of simplicity and elegance. It is enjoyable both fresh and slightly warmed, accompanying pasta, soups, or simply savoring its rich taste on its own. A true joy for those who appreciate quality baked goods!

1
Mix all the ingredients for the dough and knead (all ingredients up to the butter). Cover with a towel and place in a warm place for an hour. The dough should double in volume. (Honestly, I don't remember well, but I think I needed much more flour, the dough shouldn't stick to my hands).
- Water: 130 ml
- Milk: 130 ml
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Sugar: 1 tablespoon
- Wheat flour: 300 g
- Dry yeast: 1.5 teaspoon
2
For the filling, mix the greens with oils, add garlic and pepper (the recipe calls for 2 cloves of garlic, but I like it garlicky, so I used 4), mix until smooth. (The oil can be melted or used at room temperature).
- Butter: 80 g
- Olive oil: 1 teaspoon
- Garlic: 4 cloves
- Green: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste
3
Knead the prepared dough again on a floured surface. Shape it into a flatbread and roll it into a log. Optionally, divide the dough into several parts (it cooks faster and bakes better; I had 2 baguettes) and form small baguettes.
- Wheat flour: 300 g
4
Place the baguette on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover with a towel and let it rest for 30 minutes. Then make cross cuts on the baguette and one lengthwise (I also brushed it with beaten egg white at that time). Bake for 10 minutes at 180 degrees.
5
Remove from the oven. Cut the loaf along the lines to the middle. Place garlic butter in the cuts. Bake for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Butter: 80 g
