Spiced biscotti with nougat is an exquisite Italian cookie with a crunchy texture and rich aroma of spices. Biscotti, whose name comes from the Latin 'biscottus' meaning twice-baked, is traditionally made in two stages, giving it crispness and a long shelf life. The nougat added to the dough brings a delicate sweetness and nutty undertone, creating a unique flavor combination. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger envelop the baked goods in a warm spicy aroma that pairs perfectly with coffee or dessert wine. This cookie will be a wonderful addition to cozy evenings and provide an atmosphere of Mediterranean delight.
