This is a sweet, very Sicilian type, Arabic-Italian part of the side dish. In principle, such an interesting thing that it can be eaten as an independent dish. In a good <a href="http://eda.ru/recipe44580/fejzhoada">fejzhoada</a> farofa is simply irreplaceable , it puts something like a point in the taste universe.

Chop the bacon and fry it over medium heat for three minutes until the fat is rendered.

Add semolina and fry, stirring, for a couple of minutes, then add chopped parsley, pour in oil, and toss in raisins. Cook everything together for another two to three minutes.

Peel the orange and cut it into segments without the skin. Or simply slice it into wedges. Mix the oranges with raisins and bacon or serve the orange slices separately.
