1
Finely chopped onion is sautéed in olive oil until translucent. Add chicken cut into small cubes (2 cm sides). Sauté until golden and add finely chopped carrot, pepper, celery, and tomato to the pan. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add honey. More honey may be needed depending on the acidity of the vegetables. The chicken should be sweet with a honey aroma and a slight tang.
- Onion: 1 piece
- Chicken fillet: 500 g
- Carrot: 1 piece
- Red sweet pepper: 1 piece
- Celery stalk: 2 pieces
- Tomatoes: 1 piece
- Ground red pepper: to taste
- Salt: to taste
- Honey: 1.5 teaspoon
2
We heat the tortillas in the oven.
- Tortillas: 6 pieces
3
We spread each tortilla with cream cheese. On top, we place a thin layer of chicken in a rectangular shape (not reaching one edge of the tortilla and the bottom of the tortilla). That is, the cheese should cover the entire flatbread, but the chicken should retreat from 2 edges. This is necessary to create the bottom of the roll and for the flatbread to 'stick' to itself with the cheese.
- Cottage cheese: 6 tablespoons
- Chicken fillet: 500 g
4
Sprinkle the chicken with hard cheese on top (2 tablespoons for each flatbread).
- Grated hard cheese: 12 tablespoons
5
Fold the bottom edge of the tortilla over the chicken and start rolling the wrap from the edge without a gap. The other edge should stick to the roll with cheese.
