Cheese croutons

Cheese croutons are a light and aromatic snack that captivates with its crunchy texture and rich cheese flavor. This recipe comes from European cuisine, where simplicity and elegance are valued. Maasdam, melting in the oven, acquires a golden crust and reveals its sweet nutty notes, while sesame adds zest and a light crunch. These croutons are perfect as a standalone dish or as an addition to wine tasting. They are quick to prepare and instantly disappear from the table, becoming a favorite for cozy evenings and friendly gatherings.

1
Cut the cheese (in my case - Maasdam) into pieces.
- Hard cheese: 150 g
2
On a plate or board, sprinkle the cheese topping (it can be anything to your taste) and press the cheese against it so that the topping sticks to the cheese.
- Sesame: to taste
3
Place pieces of cheese on a baking sheet, spaced apart.
4
Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees and cook until the croutons turn golden.
