Shakar para is a traditional Indian sweet, loved for its crispy taste and rich aroma. Its roots go back centuries when Indian families prepared this treat for celebrations and festivities. Crispy squares of dough made from flour and semolina are fried to a golden color and then coated in fragrant coconut syrup with hints of cardamom. So, let's start by kneading the dough. For this, we need 1 cup of white flour, ¼ cup of semolina, 2 tablespoons of oil, and ½ cup of warm water. Mix the flour with the semolina and vegetable oil. Mix everything well by hand. Pour in the water and knead the dough.
- Wheat flour: 1 glass
- Semolina: 0.3 glass
- Vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons
- Water: 0.5 glass

Wrap the dough in plastic and let it 'rest' for about 30 minutes.

Divide the dough into two parts and roll each into a flatbread. Make plenty of holes with a regular fork and cut into small squares.

Heat a large amount of oil in a deep pan and immerse our dough squares in it. Fry over medium heat until golden brown. Place the finished crackers on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Now let's prepare coconut syrup.

In a small saucepan, mix 3/4 cup of sugar and half a cup of water. Bring to a boil and simmer on low heat until the syrup reduces by about half.
- Sugar: 0.8 glass
- Water: 0.5 glass

When the syrup is ready, turn off the heat and add 3 tablespoons of coconut flakes and half a teaspoon of ground cardamom. Mix everything well.
- Coconut flakes: 3 tablespoons
- Ground cardamom: 0.5 teaspoon

Pour our crackers into a pot and gently mix them until they are evenly coated with syrup.
