Peel the potatoes and grate them on the finest grater.
- Potato: 10 pieces

Place a mesh strainer in a pot to catch the juice. Put the mashed potato mixture in the strainer and let it sit for 10 minutes.

When the juice drains, transfer the potato mixture to another container and carefully pour the juice out of the pot. Starch will remain at the bottom of the pot, which should be added back to the potato mixture.

Thoroughly mix the potato mass, starch, and 2 eggs.
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
- Salt: to taste

Fry the prepared dough in sunflower oil in a thick-bottomed pan, shaping it into 8-9 mm thick patties. First, fry for 2-3 minutes on one side. Flip and fry for about 1.5 minutes. The heat should be strong, above medium, which is determined through experience on different stoves.
