Pimientos del Padrón

Pimientos del Padrón is a traditional Spanish tapa from the Galician region where this small green pepper is grown. Their unique feature is the element of surprise: most peppers are sweet and mild, but occasionally a spicy one appears. Fried in olive oil and sprinkled with 'flor de sal', they acquire a tender texture and rich, slightly smoky flavor. Served hot straight from the pan, often accompanying tapas or a glass of refreshing Spanish wine. This dish is valued for its simplicity and vibrant embodiment of Spanish gastronomy, where fresh ingredients play a key role.
