Peas with ham is a warm, cozy dish rooted in home cooking traditions. Its simplicity blends with deep flavors: the sweetness of tender green peas unfolds alongside aromatic onions, while serrano ham adds richness and a subtle smoky note. The butter makes the texture soft and enveloping, and the light sweetness of sugar harmonizes the flavor balance. This dish is perfect as a side to meat dishes or as a standalone treat – light yet filling. Peas with ham can be served with crusty bread or garnished with fresh herbs for a refreshing touch. It's ideal for dinner after a long day when you crave something simple yet comforting.
