Clean the cabbage head from the top leaves, wash it, and place it in a pot of boiling salted water.
- White cabbage: 1 piece

When the water boils, remove from heat. Repeat after 10 minutes.

Remove the prepared cabbage from the water, dry it, and carefully separate it into leaves.

Prepare the filling. Peel, wash the carrot, grate it on a coarse grater, and mix with peeled, finely chopped garlic.

Place 1–1.5 tablespoons of prepared filling on each cabbage leaf and roll it up like a sausage.

Place the prepared cabbage rolls in a deep dish, cover with boiling brine (2 liters of water and 2 tablespoons of salt) just to cover them. The appetizer will be ready in 2 days.
