Greek halloumi cheese

Halloumi cheese is a hallmark of Greek cuisine, known for its firm and tender taste with a slight saltiness. This cheese has the unique ability not to melt when grilled but to develop a crispy golden crust while retaining juiciness inside. It is cooked on a hot grill pan, seasoned with aromatic herbs, salt, and pepper to enhance its natural richness. White sesame seeds add subtle nutty notes, creating a delightful flavor combination. In Greece, halloumi is often served with honey, fresh vegetables or olives, making it an ideal dish for breakfast or a snack.
