Kataifi, a traditional Greek dessert. It is also called kadayif, a traditional Turkish dessert. "Angel hair" from our "Golden Thousand.

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Pour water over the sugar for the syrup.
- Sugar: 450 g
- Water: 330 ml

Add the zest of one lemon and a stick of cinnamon.
- Lemon: 1 piece
- Cinnamon sticks: 1 piece

Put on the fire, bring to a boil and remove from heat, ensuring that the sugar is completely dissolved. Let it cool.

Chop the nuts and mix them with ground cinnamon and cloves.
- Walnuts: 250 g
- Ground cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
- Ground cloves: pinch

Melt the butter and brush the bottom and sides of the baking dish.
- Butter: 250 g

Divide the dough by hand into strands, trying not to tear it. Cover with a damp cloth to prevent the dough from drying out.

Separate a part of the dough and lightly grease it with butter, place a teaspoon of filling and roll it into a roll. Transfer it to a baking dish and use a brush with butter to give it a neater shape.
- Kataifi dough: 450 g
- Butter: 250 g

Roll the remaining rolls in the same way. The baklava should fit tightly together. Send to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for one hour.

Slowly pour the cooled syrup over the baked baklava.
