Wraps are a traditional element of Mexican cuisine inspired by ancient tortillas that have served as a staple in Latin America for centuries. These aromatic wraps are slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a delicate wheat flavor and a hint of buttery creaminess. Their simplicity and versatility make them perfect as standalone bread or a base for various fillings: from meats to vegetables and cheeses. When hot, wraps enhance the flavors of the ingredients, while cold they serve as a convenient base for sandwiches. They can be used to make burritos, quesadillas, or even sweet rolls with fruits.
