Beef and pomegranate kutab is one of the most exquisite dishes of Azerbaijani cuisine, combining simplicity of preparation with rich flavors. The thin dough, infused with the aromas of melted butter, envelops a juicy filling of beef soaked in spices and sweet pomegranate seeds. The combination of meat and pomegranate gives the dish a slight tanginess and makes the taste multifaceted. Kutabs are cooked on a dry hot pan and then brushed with melted butter, giving them a special silky aroma. This dish is perfect for cozy family dinners or traditional Azerbaijani celebrations. Kutabs can be served with fragrant tea or dairy products that highlight the richness of flavor. Enjoy a piece of history embodied in this amazing treat!
