Simple cherry strudel is a refined dessert of European cuisine that captivates with its crispy crust and juicy filling. The origins of this treat trace back to Austrian and German traditions, where strudels were an integral part of family gatherings. This recipe harmoniously combines the sweetness of rum-soaked cherries and the lightness of puff pastry. The baking takes on a golden hue thanks to egg yolks, while the finishing touch—powdered sugar—adds special tenderness. It is best served warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a spoonful of natural yogurt, creating a contrast of flavors and textures. This is the perfect choice for cozy evenings and festive gatherings when you want to indulge in a true culinary masterpiece.
