An unusual cherry pie on kefir dough is a refined combination of tender, airy dough and juicy cherry filling. Its roots go back to the traditions of Russian cuisine, where kefir dough is valued for its softness and lightness. Sweet cherries encased in thin dough acquire a rich flavor with a slight tartness after baking, creating a delightful contrast. The pie is served warm, dusted with powdered sugar, adding an elegant sweetness. Its spiral shape makes it not only delicious but also aesthetically pleasing. This pie is perfect for a cozy tea gathering with family or as an elegant treat for guests.
