Raspberry Trifle

5 minutes
Raspberry trifle is an exquisite dessert of British cuisine that combines the creaminess of its base, the sweetness of banana, and the slight tartness of raspberry. The origins of trifle date back to the 16th century when layered desserts with cream and fruits began to be made in England. This version is adapted to available ingredients, easy to prepare yet impressive in taste. The combination of soft sponge soaked in cream, fragrant raisins, and fresh berries creates a harmonious balance. It’s best prepared in a clear glass for aesthetic layering. The main rule is not to mix the ingredients so that each layer retains its flavor. Raspberry trifle is perfect for a cozy tea time or as a light dessert after a main course.
