Simple cookies are the embodiment of home comfort and warm memories. They are soft, slightly sweet treats with a delicate texture, perfect for morning tea or evening coffee. The recipe is based on basic ingredients: flour, butter, milk, sugar, and baking powder, making it accessible and easy to prepare. Its roots can be traced back to the traditions of Pan-Asian cuisine where balance of flavor and minimalism are important. The simplicity of these cookies allows for various additions like vanilla, cinnamon or even nuts. Baked to a light golden crust, they have a slight crunch on the outside and softness inside, creating a harmony of taste and texture. This is an ideal choice for those who appreciate conciseness and purity of flavor.
